This is a piece I have done under the brief for the 'Illustration Awards' of 'Being Human' showing how, it is human to progress, advance and create life but through all this we are causing more harm than good, for the most part.

Style

I have been experimenting with a new, flatter style for more commercial use. I feel really comfortable with it and a lot more free in terms of flow and shape. It was a bit difficult at first to think so widely as I used to focus mainly on faces but with this I feel like I can draw anything and it can be quirky rather than perfect.
This is definitely more fun :)

These are obviously preliminary designs but I still think they're cute.

Commission

I did this piece for a friend, self portrait. Think it turned out ok, she was very happy with it anyway which is what counts.
