So.Much.Better. The last image felt disjointed and pissed me off so much everytime I looked at it. But this is so much nicer as a little image rather than the Totem style.

I wanted to try mixing a bit of painting with the flat to give it a nice balance. I realy like it it has an interesting look.

Re-Do

I added some more little touches to my Alice tea party piece as, when I looked at it this morning I thought there was something missing. They're only little things like a few highlights and shadows but I think it looks better for it.

Newest piece

This is a piece I have done under the brief for the 'Illustration Awards' of 'Being Human' showing how, it is human to progress, advance and create life but through all this we are causing more harm than good, for the most part.

Style

I have been experimenting with a new, flatter style for more commercial use. I feel really comfortable with it and a lot more free in terms of flow and shape. It was a bit difficult at first to think so widely as I used to focus mainly on faces but with this I feel like I can draw anything and it can be quirky rather than perfect.
This is definitely more fun :)

These are obviously preliminary designs but I still think they're cute.

Commission

I did this piece for a friend, self portrait. Think it turned out ok, she was very happy with it anyway which is what counts.

I thought I would do a piece of fanart as I don't really and what better than Bioshock. Just finished episode 1 of Burial at Sea, awesome btw.
